Dr. Choi is both a Prosthodontist and an Implant Specialist.

He has completed more than 4,000 implant surgeries and restorations. Dr. Choi has trained with some of the world’s most prominent implant dentists and is rapidly becoming known in the area as a leader in the field.
Dr. Hyeonju ‘Michael’ Choi received his doctor’s degree from Seoul, South Korea in 1986. After serving his country as a military doctor, Dr. Choi entered the advanced implant preceptorship program at UCLA mainly doing research about dental implant interface and mechanics later published in the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Implants (JOMI). In 1994, Dr. Choi entered the advanced Prosthodontic Program at Loma Linda University, graduating with a certificate in Prosthodontics. In 1996, he entered the advanced Implant Dentistry program graduating with a certificate in implant dentistry.

After serving a year as assistant professor at Loma Linda, he went into private practice. Also, he has given many lectures as well as taught hands-on courses to other clinicians on dental implants and cosmetics.

Dr. Choi’s Memberships: American & California Dental Associations, OC Dental Society, Academy of Osseointegration, Prosthodontic Residency Loma Linda University, Advanced Implant Dentistry Residency 3 years Loma Linda University, Irvine Chamber of Commerce.
