The Desert Elite Group is a non-profit lead referral service consisting of local contractors, service providers and retail stores that provide first-rate products and services.
The concept was created to address the need for dependable contractors and resources for homeowners who want to improve their home. The Desert Elite Group has 25 members that cover nearly every contractor, service or retail need a homeowner may have.
To join the Desert Elite Group, a prospective member must be referred to the group as a reputable and licensed contractor. Before the company is considered for inclusion as a member, the contractor is interviewed by the Board of Directors in addition to rigorous prescreening including license verification from the State of California and local cities, as well as insurance verification. This prescreening gives prospective customers the peace of mind in finding a skilled and trustworthy home improvement contractor, service provider or product retailer.
The Planning Center
The Planning Center, headquarters of the Desert Elite Group, offers a unique concept by providing a facility where home and business owners can meet with designers, architects, realtors and other service providers on their improvement projects thereby getting the most qualified, skilled and trustworthy company for their particular needs. In addition to the many exciting mixers and public functions held at The Planning Center, homeowners and designers can meet in the comfortable lounge area for a more casual conversation or use one of the 6 private offices or conference room when privacy and confidentiality are a necessary part of the meeting.
The Planning Center is located at 42210 Cook Street, Suite J, in Palm Desert, California. Both the Desert Elite Group and The Planning Center is privately funded by its members and is offered as a public service by offering complimentary meeting facilities and events, referral services and consultation.
